Project initiated and financed by – Atelier Rijksbouwmeester , the Hague , in the frame of the Prison Star Program, in the Colibasi Penitentiary, with the support of the Dutch Ministries of Foreign Affairs and of Justice.
Co-organizers: Hand Milked Visions Foundation , Amsterdam ; the International Center for Contemporary Art , Bucharest ; Odeon Theater , Bucharest.

CALENDAR & ACTIVITIES :
09/2005 – 01/2006
• definition of the collaborative framework and of the project's structure.
03/2006 – 12/2006
• interviews with the inmates from the Colibasi Penitentiary that choose to participate in the project;
• creative workshops aimed at revealing the creative and performative abilities of the inmates;
• selection of the participants for the performance;
• workshops of drama readings (ancient Greek tragedy texts), improvisation, stage presence & movement.
03/2007 – 05/2007
• casting and directing the text CA(R)NE – THIS IS OUR CITY: working on diction, breathing, voice control; text rehearsals; stage rehearsals;
• set & costumes design and realization;
• general rehearsal in Colibasi.
24 – 26/05/2007
• transfer of the inmates to Mioveni;
• open rehearsal in the Mioveni House of Culture.
27/05/2007
• technical rehearsal in Odeon Theater in Bucharest
28/05/2007
• transfer of the inmates to Bucharest
general rehearsals and public presentation in the Odeon Theater in Bucharest
